Stay online while AFK : Guild Wars 2 Exploits

It seems like the function that checks if people are active and thus should not be logged off, is based on skill use, and not on pressing keys. So you set a skill to autocast (CTRL+rightclick on it) and that skill can be used without a target, you will never be logged off. Selfheals, buffs etc work just fine. What is cool about this is that it does not require a macro or external app, so chances are people will not be banned for doing it.

Do you happen to know what the timeout is before you're kicked so I can quickly confirm this? Is it like 15 mins or more like 60?

Sorry I do not. I have just been AFK without being kicked for 3 hours, while having a speedbuff on autocast, hence how i discovered purely by accident. But ill try to find out.

Just checked it out and i was kicked due to inactivity after 1 hour.

Confirmed. This little trick does appear to work.

I just set my self-heal to auto-attack and stayed logged in while AFK for ~2 hours.
