Path of Exile is an upcoming online Action RPG set in a cut-throat fantasy world. It is developed by New Zealand based independent developer Grinding Gear Games and will be marketed as a downloadable free-to-play game supported by "ethical microtransactions".

The player controls a single character from an overhead perspective and explores large outdoor areas and underground caves or dungeons, battling monsters and fulfilling quests from NPCs to gain experience points and equipment. All areas aside from the central encampments are randomly generated for increased re-playability. While all players play on (currently) one server world the game play outside of encampments is highly instanced providing every player or party with an isolated map to explore.

Path of Exile is an upcoming free to play fantasy-world MMORPG. It is the first game from New Zealand-based Grinding Gear Games, a studio founded by a number of long-time Diablo fans.

Path of Exile will offer six characters classes in a heavily-instanced multiplayer world. The game has realistic graphics and a gothic, merciless vibe.

Game complexity stems largely from a deep item system, headlined by an intricate gem-socketing system, where the skills and spells are tied to gems, and can be added to items with special linked gems.

(Alpha Release) Exiled bot - Path of Exile

It is planned to do any stuff an advanced bot can do : Zone cleaning, custom pickit, skills configuration, custom delays, gambling, selling stuff, etc.

For now, the bot is detecting monsters and killing them using skilled that user configured, but still doesn't explore as pathfinding is not yet implemented. We are currently hardly working to find out how to read the map and get "walkable" positions.
By the way, any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!!

INSTRUCTIONS

First of all, for some obvious reasons, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT NOR ON HARDCORE CHARACTER!!

1. Download the bot http://www.exiled-bot.net/
2. Configure needed parameters in Configuration/config.ini file and Configuration/skills.ini, everything is pretty self-explenatory or you can read the comments when it's not.
3. Launch the game.
4. IMPORTANT : Put the game in 800x600 resolution windowed. For now the bot is only supported in this resolution.
5. Launch the bot.
6. Enter inside an area. I would strongly advise you to start with the act 2 area "The Forest" as I only tested it on this map until now.
7. Press space key to start or pause the bot. You can reload your ini file during runtime as well by pressing CTRL + N.
8. Move around.
9. Have fun as you get close to some monsters =)

We are releasing this public alpha version because we felt that it was much more cool to share this kind of stuff with other people!!
