It's the gamepad stuff that crashes XU for me.

THanks for the logs, I am looking into the problem or atleast a way around it. I have tested with MY gamepad and I do not experience any problems, so I am looking for ways to catch errors that I might not have anticipated.

Can you download 3.992 and post an updated log if you are still getting crashes.

Gamepad now works fine. In dialog mode I was however unable to change focus to background windows, FFXI stayed on top the whole time. Focusing on other windows works just fine in windowed mode.

Sorry for my own plugin loading in there but it's bug free (I think!) so shouldn't matter.

Does windowed mode work correctly now? Ie no crashes, can switch between windows, gamepad still works, etc?

And the only bug with borderless dialog mode is not being able to bring other windows ontop of ffxi?

You might also uncheck ForceRedraw as it is only really used for a plugin that turns on WireFrame.

While I can uncheck Force Redraw it's automatically checked again when I restart so I stopped bothering. I assumed it was required.

Anyway, yeah windowed mode seems to work 100% while dialog mode only has problems with being always on top.

Thanks, I'll get 3.993 out here in a bit that will fix that dialog mode problem.

I know it took a while to get gamepad added, but its there now.

i have the same problem as asl, i tried disabling gamepad and everything, nothing seems to fix this problem. also tried a fresh XU install in another directory and still doesnt work. let me kno if im missing something or if it is just a matter of time to wait for an update. thanks and keep up the good work.

If disabling gamepad didn't fix it you have another error, I suggest you make a new thread with your xunleashed.log attached.
