Can anyone get XU to work in Doom3? : Legacy General & Troubleshooting

When I launch the game using XU, I move my mouse down, and no bar comes up.

I am doing this while in the menu for the game, b/c in the game the mouse is actually the cross hairs and look at, so when I move down, I look down, and am nver able to get to the screen bottom...thus the menu is the only choice.

Here are my settings and system:
dual 3.6 xeons, 2 gRAM, 15K RPM SCSI, XP Pro, quadro fx 4400, dual 24" dell widscreen flat panels, DX9 (dx9test.exe works fine).

Any suggestions?

P.S. I really don't want to ask for a refund, as I would like to play this game with my gamepad...but if I can't get XU to work, I don't see an alternate solution...thanks.

i reccomend you use a gamepad emu in the mean time, several are available from a google search. i had one ( i never used XU, but i did want to use a gamepad)

Usually the problem is with the gamepad and the game not being compatable, which is why you need to use an emu which rebinds your controller.
