Extra MogHouse Space Exploit : FFXI General Discussions

Hey, is it possible to post up an exploit to gain premium access? I want to post an expanded moghouse storage space exploit that I don't think is anywhere else. It's pretty sweet.

First off, has anyone heard of an exploit like this? Just making sure everyone doesn't already know it...

Okay, this is how it works.

You can setup a type of 'extra' moghouse space by an exploit of the send items feature.

Take the extra items you have, and goto the NPC that allows you to send items to your mog house. After you do that, you notice that if you click on the NPC again, you can see the items faded out, so it doesn't allow you to send anymore stuff, this is where the exploit comes in.

Goto your Mog House, and click on the delivery box, you should see all the items come up. Now, goto each item, and click on 'return' to sender. You will see that they then disapere from your delivery box. Exist out of the delivery box, and go back in again. You should see the items come back up again.

Now, goto the NPC once again where you sent the items. Click on it, and you should now see that the send space is available, so you can once again, send upto 8 things. Go back to your mog house, and the items that you sent before should show up, once again click on the 'return' to sender button, wait a little bit, and you should see the newely sent items come in as well.

Just click on the 'return' to sender as before, and repeat the before steps as many times as you want. You can send upto hundreds of stuff this way, and have access to them, all you have to do is click on the return button in the delivery box, and it should refresh the box with new items.

but honestly i wouldn't trust this system, this may be cool for space but who needs to keep that much stuff honestly i have 55 on person and 60 in MH and that's more than enough room for me...
plus with the update you can turn in a full set of armor into an NPC for safe keeping...
i wouldn't suggest this route for other reasons as well say you sent yourelf 16 items and your outa money so you sesll things in ah...
what happens when your inventory was full to begin with?
you sell 7 items but have 16 items in delivery box??
how do you get the money you need?

Items can't be sold if your inbox is full, oh and the inbox has WAY more space than 16 slots, more like 60.

prooves my point even more too why would you need to hold on to that much stuff if your not gonna be able to sell it?

And that's why I asked if anyone ever heard of it... yay.

u get the money by returning to sender, after u do that if u sold things in ah it will show up

This can be very helpful if you need to make room quick. Ex Your farming and get invited to party and your inventory is full and your mog house is full too. You can use this to make quick room in your inventory go party and then when you are done sort out all the things with ease.

I dont recommed using this as an permenat inventory since the more you hold that harder it is to control.


I have allot of room in Mog and inv i also have 2 mules. It is a pain to make room since I keep all Crystals. I have stacks and stakcs of crystals. I also save my high lvl gear sub job gear for the high lvl. I also started lvling BST Thieve Ninja and Warrior. So the Inventory gets full very quickly.

Incase you are wondering why I save the things. Is that I hate buying Crystals and selling things that are not stacks is sometimes useless.

It also helps me to do my crafting since I have all the crystals I need. When you craft 60 silver ignots and all of it is profit it pays of to Save your things. Silver Ignots in my Server sell about 30k to 40k or more

I think it would be alot easier than do ing the quests for expanded inventory lol. but wont items get lost after a certain period of time
, and what happens if your inventory is full in both your char and your MH?

Simple you will eventually have to sell something.LOL

I had to do this not to long ago I had to much. I needed to make room. Yes the quest for space help allot.

He May be talking about how you can fill up all your mog space then send 8 items to your deliverey box run back to your moghouse check your delivery box but don't remove anything then run back and send 8 more items to your delivery box.

if so i use that all the time. your box for sending items to your deliverey box won't clear out unless the item has been displayed on the screen in your delivery box then go back into your deliverey box after the server lets you after i think suppin like 15 seconds or whatever.

Edit: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............and that my friends is why there will not be much contribution from me till i get back when i clicked to reply to this post and input a little the last post i saw was the one right before he said what he was doing. it quite literally takes about 20 mins for a page to load when 6k people are using a single T1 line.
