CRAFTING LIMITS : FFXI General Discussions

A friend told me that over 60 in crafting skills i'll can have only 40 skill points, distributed in all the crafting over 60..

For example this:
-100 one skill, 60 others
-90 one skill, 70 one skill, 60 others
-80 two skill, 60 others
-70 four skill, 60 others
.....and so on.....

Please, someone can tell me if is this true?
If yes, there is a possibility to lower a skill (i reached 64 in woodworking, but i'd like to reach 100 in smithing).

You can have 100 in one craft skill and up to 60 in all others. The only craft skill that this does not effect is fishing. You can have 100 in fishing, 100 in a craft and 60 in all other crafts.

Yes, this is exactly how it works.
With all crafts (aka excluding fishing) you have 40 points available above the 60. You can spread those out however you wish.

incorrect the crafting skill has been raised since fex 23, you can all have up to 100 now.. i have couple friend with 2 100 skills... the only negative point and some of you crafter maybe found out since the update is that after 60 skilling get's kinda harder, but you can get them all to 100 now
