How many of you cast Haste on Yourselves?

I always cast Haste to tanks and nin or DD not on myself. I knew that it helps Nin cast and get recast faster never really taught about it too much.
Someone pointed out that if I cast Haste on Myself I can cast and recast faster .

When I taught about I am like no way and then thinking about a little more it hit me. Bein playing white for a year no one has ever told me that. I never see Mages casting Haste on themselves though.

So I am wondering how many whites cast Haste on themselves. Funny how no pty ever said anything to me about Hasting myself. Even after finding out I didnt need it too much but it does make a Very Big difference.


I was a little upset at myslef I knew about it affecting spells but never really taught how it would affect me. Again I usually dont see whites Hasting other mages or themselves so I am wondering if other Whites now about this.

I never found it worth the mp cost.

If you are casting so fast that the extra 5 seconds counts in a party, probably time to get a new party lol. You shouldnt need to spam cures.

The MP cost is not worth it... and if u really need to spam cures faster than the time allows you find a better party or at least a better camp.

That being said... i am a lvl 70WHM and i have gotten all the Blessed armor... with a total of about +20% Haste and it does help for those monster that deliver 1 hitter quiters in which u need to cast cure fast... if your not level 70 you can alway get the cure clogs which increase cure spellcasting... but on my server (ifrit) they are going for 2mil

Thanks for the replies I do agree with them all. I was thinking the same thing too. I guess that is why no ptys ever told me about since it not really needed.

It does help allot when solo and you are farming. Also incase of solo it makes it easier to warp out incase of aggress.
