Gil buyers : FFXI General Discussions

i recently bought gil off a site but now they are banning it and banning anyone who does it. I didnt know untiln today and im just wondering if ill be safe from getting banned....??? I really had no clue about it. Whta do ub guys think???

i think if you did it before they banned it, and SE tell you your gonna be banned, you should tell them your predicament and i think they will let you off, since u didnt know its only fair, although i dont like people who buy gil... there lazy.. hehe ^^;;

i understand where ur coming from but utsusemi ichi and tools for my nin plus mithran rod and all fisahers gear so that i could make money is a lot and i dont play so much....so i just bought a little

if u dont buy it alot then i guess its ok lol i was thinking about it for a virmillion cloak (2.5+ milllion on my server) but i didnt want to cos im against it lol

I personally know some people that have bought somewhere over 30-40mil gil anad they're still around. Not sure if that's good or bad.

theres no way they are going to ban anyone anymore for that reason. they have lost so many members to wow and other mmo's that they are getting desperate in keeping people playing their game. eg: allowing anyone that has quit the game to come back etc. etc. Im not in any way saying you "should" buy gil online cuz imo thats cheating.

The reason they are banning the gil buyers is because they are trying to put the gil sellers out of business, you shouldnt be in too much trouble if you bought, but if you sell, then I think you can actually do prison time
