what is a good fast voke for spook??? : FFXI General Discussions

i am no newb for spook i have gotten over 100+ kill and 25+ mantles but it seems like people are comming up with new methods and well i would like to find out some because ppl that arent bots and arent using turbo controller are or seem to be spamming even with mobs well if anyone could help me out if would be apperciated ^^.

heres the order of speed of different widely used claim methods to the most of my knowledge.

slowest to fastest

chi blast

no, there are a couple of macros that let you get spook before it pops, and im not talkings about 3rd party programs

Ummm you are wrong on the order

From slowest to Fastest

anything slower than Holy is going to be too slow if thier is another NM hunter that spams.

Holy
Flash
Provoke
Charm
Chi Blast<-- long recharge time
2 Hr Ranger Shot<--- 2hr

Fastest (same speed):
Provoke
charm
shadowbind
Chi blast

Faster to slower stuff:
Stun
Flash
Holy
Dia

the above list is about the most commonly used JA/MA to pull a mob.

really.. ive always found charm to be just a tad bit faster than voke, and chi blast to pwn them all, but i guess it also could be the person controlling...

yeah i know how to spam but i was looking for a good fast legal macro or something like. and i use voke

from my experiances (which turn out to not be very reliable as a source), ive found that macros only slow you down and ur better off just clicking voke as fast as you can until something pops up

it's exactly the same. depends on your connection and computer.

lol i have a nice computer just my conn sux :/

but wouldnt it just be possible to like create the same macro over and over and spam with like 4 buttons? cause i theory that would be faster if i knew the macro.

i would run a third party program if I played on the pc... I have it installed but i dont like it as much

yeah i run a 3rd party program sometimes but yeah i just like to know new ways to do stuff and legal ways lol.

not much to worry about with 3rd party programs on FFXI, the GMs suck here
