Can weapon exloit get you banned?? : FFXI General Discussions

I was wondering if the weapon exploit could get u a permanit ban???

Depends on the exploit - there are numerous posts on other forums that state people beeing banned from using the Item Dupe Exploit. I know peeps have already been banned for using the speed hack, but that is a hack. I am sure there are a few exploits that will not get you banned, they just are not posted here.... /sigh
Hopefully this site will more productive and gain more exploits. I have already seen a few good things pop up here lately.

I said the weapon exploit which effects your delay!
Its not a program but a macro that FFXI allows u to use (the in-game ones)

weapon exploit is not really an exploit, its a trick, an exploit is something that the game is not meant to do, and u figure a way out to decieve what the game does to make it do something else for ur own reasons, this weapon delay TRICK, cannot get u banned, as u are doing nothing against the game rules as u use it, if u use a program from outside the game, that will let u do that trick, then that would get u banned, as long as SE has proof that u were using a program that modifys or interfears with FFXI

For example, if se has proof that u were using a windower , it can get u banned, because it interfears with the game client to minimize a window...

my appologies - i must have been tired when I posted that - I could swear this reply was meant for the item dupe exploit and not the weapon delay exploit - I know the weapon delay exploit - I confirmed it working personally on the actual post for it somewhere in these forums.

no you cannot be banned for it
because it's not a 3rd-party tool it's using SE's own macro system to cut your delay

If it's the one where you engage and disengage, it doesn't work anyway.

however you can only use it occasionally or it will tell you you can't attack yet
