Cheaper route for clothcrafting at 53? : FFXI General Discussions

That's Right! there is a alt thing to craft at 53 (caps at 63) and it's cheaper then those darn green ribbions it's....

Crystal: Earth
Carapace Powder x1 ( Wind Crystal + 2 bettle shells bonecrafting cap around 21 )
Cotton Thread x3
Distilled Water x1

now you don't need to drop 1-2 mil to get from 53-60!

I had a ls buddy with cloth at 98+3 desynth the ribbons for me so I could reuse the cloth. But it was still a bit expensive ... lost around 500k going from 51-59. The ribbons sell very poorly on Ramuh -- I sold 3 by leaving my bazaar out 2 nights in a row and NONE sold in the auction house. Desynth or sell to NPC and suck up the loss ^^ Pretty soon you can make a Noble and get your money back ... maybe you will even get lucky and HQ it!! >.> wouldn't that be something??

dang i dunno if this was a blessing in disguis LOL but hey how far ahead can you craft and still get points for it is it 10 lvls? cause i usually do anywhere from 6-8. but yes i actually am 53 clothcraft hit it last night =) and your saying i can craft that which would be WAY cheaper than the black mitts i was making lol. ima go home tonight and try it even though im almost outta gils >< gonna have to go farming soon /sigh.
