What's with the recent deprication of ores? : FFXI General Discussions

Is it just on Ifrit or is the prices of ores all in the hole now? It was 200k for aluminum now its 3k, platnium's wre 100k now 43k... etc.

Is it just a recent low or has it been like this for a while?

wow 3k per aluminum ore?! i guess more people using the drawin feature to go mining safely causing an increase in ores

yea, good for buying something -- bad for making gil.

I recently quit growing tree cuttings to sapplings to elemental ores. I average about 5-8 elemental ores per 20 plants (2 mules). Unless you can craft your own ores into elemental beads and make a HQ elemental staffs at a pretty good rate ... I would make more gil just growing sapplings from cuttings and selling them in bazaar.

Just for an idea --
Water Ores sold for 1mil to 1.3mil about a month ago.
Water Beads sold 1.5-2mil a month ago.

... water beads now sell for 400-500k. HQ staves go for ~2mil. The price beads use to sell for.
