Guide Request: Solo Leveling Guide for BLM or WHM : FFXI General Discussions

As the topic stated, looking for a Solo guide for leveling BLM or WHM, preferably to 75, but, whatever.

I looked around for a few days and I haven't found any solo guides for any of the basic jobs until you get to the later levels (50+).

I just despise looking for parties in the dunes, and qufim... So, Any one know how to solo from 1-75?

Soloing whm to 75 would probably take years... I say this as a 75 WHM who has to battle for several minutes against an EP-- (yields about 12 XP). Maybe whm/nin would make 74-75 a bit quicker.

My suggestion: level beastmaster. It sucks for a bit but after 35 it is incredibly fun and the XP isnt too slow. I am 44 BST now... I partied through the dunes and qufim (BST/NIN is as good as war/nin til 30). Jug pets in parties make you a phenomenal DD. I don't wanna say the basic jobs 'cant' solo, but its not whats intended.

bst is the best job ever. i have a few 75bst accs (leveled by me all on same server) and going to start a new one in september

Well, I still need to get to the level for the adv job quests.
I just never have luck with parties (had rather). I think and solo guide for a basic job would do, as long as it isn't warrior. I can't keep the aggro... I always forget about it...

blm and whm are probably the more PT friendly jobs out there already at your level. if you can't get PT these 2 jobs you better play something else. other jobs

If you really want to get to 75 fast be a brd. You will get pt invites like a beast and you will not have to worry about seeking for very long.

yeah jus gets rough pre ballad II, lot of slow retarded parties and occasional kicks for rdms

If your looking to get whm up faster then try makeing a bones party, they could start out at lv65 in Gustav tunnel if im not mistaking, then they can move to KRT to 75. Its probally fastest way to level whm, but as for soloing as a whm. I don't think thats really a good idea. I have a 75 whm and hated leveling it. Still dont know why i even bothered with it.

I dunno about that. At lower levels i didnt get fast invites but as higher levels it would go a bit faster. I'd say things will pick up around level 45 or so.

Yeah at the mid levels and up brd can level like a beast.

Do not solo anything but BST to 75. Best you can do otherwise is use Exp Scrolls (lol).

I've heard quite a bit about Puppetmaster being able to solo quite well too so that could be another option . Also Dragoon and Summoner can solo half decently too but no where near the lvl of beastmaster

Whites cant Solo for xp it would take forever they dont have the Damage to kill things fast enough to be worth it.

Bl is possible but does take a bit of skill.
