Shiva server merc kris help : FFXI General Discussions

i was wondering if anyone on the shiva server would be able to help me get a mercurial kris? im so busy with missions and hnms was wondering if anyone is bored enough to help me get one/
normally i wouldnt ask for help but i lost my main character which had everything lvld to 50 (except drk and dragoon) and crafts and all that -_- so starting over with everything jus sucks !@#$%^&*. im jus about 70, in a hnm shell and to busy to doit myself from the start. i do -NOT- plan on selling it >< ever. anyone think they can help and are bored enough to do so let me know

what drops it? and lvl? im a blm pretty high lvl but i unno.

you have to trade in marlins for the in the belly quest and get a pirates chart. trade in the chart in valkrum dunes with 3 people (or solo it with smn) at a level 20 cap vs 3 nm's who like to use 100 fists and hope the chest when you win gives the kris

It isn't very easy for a smn to solo this. It all or nothing when trying to solo it. My advice is go with 2 smns atleast and 2hr ramuh at start when the NMs come up. That should kill them. I never had this knife drop from all the times i done this, and charts arent easy to get neither.

I had all avatars before i was level 20 smn. I hate smn and only use it for things like this. I had to do all the prime battles for fenrir anyways so i never bothred with the minis. SMN is only fun when you can play it like it should be.

im waiting for 65 so whenever ppl do smn battles and i ask to help they wont just brush me off. a 75 nin and a whm and duo all regular avatars

75 ninja can solo most prime avatars along with other jobs. There not actually hard, just have to be careful about there astral flow.
