Setup: Two windower clients running. Two seperate accounts.

What I'd like: To XP on one account and fish on another.

Is this possible? Can the fish.kill script be run on a specific windowed client without needing to be in focus?

Thanks

Depends how the fisher sends text. What you would do is load ffxi with XUnleashed, then load it again just with windower. That will give you the windows, but there is a possibility that XUnleashed sends text by simply typing, and if the top window is the wrong one, that's your problem.

That is the problem I've encountered thus far. Sounds like nobody has been able to lock which instance of FFXI running to the scripted input. Or nobody has really had enough of a reason to to go through all that trouble.

someone has something which almost works like that but if i remember the only thing that was missing was how to send the "enter" command. other than that everything was done, ill need to check up on it again and see if it works

You aren't going to like this answer. Sorry.

The fisher.kill script requires your game client to be running in the foreground (in focus) to send keystrokes to it.

There will be 100% no way to use a second client on that PC to XP with, while the script fishes. At least, not unless XUnleashed decides to implement that support.

Thanks for the help, suggestions and answers. I'll keep my eyes open for something that can do what I want.
