ffxi registry problem : FFXI General Discussions

since i dont have my ffxi cds here i just copyd the directory and the registry string then reformatted my computer and now when i try to start pol it says "Class not registred" >_< anyone know what i should do ? cant reinstall since i dont have my cds here.

Best thing would be to find and use your CDs, or go out and buy new ones.... I don't really understand what you did, but you're probably lucky you didn't corrupt your system changing the registries XD

Need to fine some CDs, or go buy the DVD pack for 30 bucks comes with all the expan but ToAU.

lol wont corrupt the registry by adding something thats already there, just wondering if someone know what string i'm missing, cant get the cds here >_< well !@#$%^&* happens time to quit ffxi, thx for the help

You've probably missed something.


All in all, copying registry entries is a *very* bad way to do something like this.

i have Roz CoP and ToAU installed in case that matter here is a reg file if you need one

i dont know if FFXI install any special DLL into common files or system dirs. but i dont think so, with the reg and the files in place it should work, double check that all the dirs point where you have FFXI. i have to tryu this with an ipod to see if i can carry ffxi where i go, but i havent got the time yet. hope this helps
