thats why i dont put to much into the tools i dont trust them all that much and only use them if i am really late fora LS event. though i sorta have a uper hand then most i use ps2 and pc all at once so i can watch my farming bot move and stuff and see if anyone saw me do it or log if needed. /tell a gm back lol. though i only done that once.

If I only got a temp ban does that mean I will get perm ban in a couple days. Just asking to those who got temp ban last time. I realy dont want to lose my char.

either 1. SE got better at detecting this or 2. someone told on me ><!! 3. i totally used this to solo the 7 sin NMs in Eldieme and it was kinda odd that my mule was selling like 4 Gluttony Swords and 4 Wrath Tabards doot doot ^^;;
...i have 3 accounts and i do it on all 3 but only my main one got suspened...leads me to believe that its #2 on my list.

I'm pretty sure they're detecting something. They most likely have POS themselves, or someone registered on these forums to lurks here and can download the newest updates. They can then sit there and POS on their test server testing what they they can detect and then change to be detected.

Anyway I can't see them having 3400 people all being reported all of the sudden at certain times near the month.

As my best guess, they monitor activity on a certain day for a certain period of time. Anyone breaking rules during that time, gets suspended or banned.

I really don't know how my main account is not banned right now, I'm really expecting it to be changed that way as I've been suspended on it before for fleetooling (an actual getting reported). It was well over a year ago that I had that happen, but either way I was warned on it, don't know why it wasn't perm ban right off the bat for that account.

I own 4 accounts, 2 of them suspended 2 untouched. I pay for all accounts on 2 cards, so I don't think they just ban anything your CC# is attached to, or I'd lose them all. I also don't believe they ban accounts by IP address, because all 4 would pretty much only show activity from my IP.

haha damn if they banned by IP there would be like 5 accounts from my apt alone....god the more i think about it the more i look like a RMT with people playing in shifts in my apt and such...

on another note... i bet if i log on today with 1 of my other accounts and do a /sea all Wise he's still botting Mee

Wether there are RMT or not, pretty much we cheated, we knew we were, we knew we were breaking the ToS. What does it matter if RMT are there still or not? The ones that camp NMs, and monopolize things aren't breaking any rules, they are simply "devoted players" who love to camp that one NM all day for their 'fun'. It isn't breaking the rules, you can do the same thing. This is why SE can't simply say, ban you.

They send the profit gil to a mule who who sends it to gil buyers. That mule is the one they can ban, the ones you see as RMT don't do anything wrong. They can easily deny the fact that they didn't know that player they were sending money to was a gil seller, and SE can't do anything about that.

Also almost all of the RMT on my server do not seem to bot, or POS/Fleetool. I've been playing with them for years and this is why they stick. If they don't get a claim, they have plenty of other chances and NM's.

So saying "oh SE bans me but not RMT" is really not very smart. Yes, SE banned/Suspeneded you, you were cheating.

Take this, a lot of people, hundreds and probably thousands, when they quit the game with a significant amount of money, sell it for gil, and sell that gil to companies such as IGE for money. Many people feel this is ok, it is still the EXACT same as when the "RMT" on your server do it. Exactly the same, except we didn't make our gil as efficiently. So if SE banned every account that sent/traded gil to a known, or possible RMT gil mule, then that persons account could be banned as well. Some people sell gil to IGE and continue playing on the account.

People worry Waaaaaaaay too much about RMT, they use it as a scapegoat when they fail at something. I treat them as any other player, because I could essentially do the exact same thing, and just not sell the gil, just keep it and eventually buy anything I want. I do not prefer to play this way as that is boring to me. But Anyone can do it.

im not using them as a scapegoat, im actually friends with a lot of the cgfs, they help me camp NMs for items i need in the area like Jujujitsu Gi i got for free from CGFs. They even helped me kill Charby for my Joyseuse...and yes Wise is a botter... big time Fleetool and MA user. My friend sent a video of Wise claiming MEE with Fleetool running for 2 mins straight followed by teleporting with MA to claim MEE and the GM just told my friend thats Lag...

I think thats hy i got a perm ban, becuase i could of made allot of $$$ of my char & gil. I was actually just waiting for the first warning, then as going to sell my gil & acc.

So you're upset that 1 person might not have gotten suspended or banned who use fleetool and POS? Try the thousands of others who didn't get banned or suspended for it.

You, for instance, in the last ban/susp. didn't catch the wrath. People are so being being upset that they got it and others didn't that they don't take the time to realize... who cares, you were cheating and got caught, don't worry about other people.

well i got temporarily suspended , but once I log back in I'm going to quit FFXI. It angers me that I am paying $19 a month for a game that they won't let me play. Especially one where I've invested so much time in, nearly 3 yaers, to level it up and get HNM items then get banned for using fleetool to get to a town quickly.
There are plenty of other online games better than FFXI, and I think it's time I moved on.

Listen SE, if you want us to stop using fleetool/pos/windower, then make your own windowed version and more ways to save time in the game.
I used to be such a devoted fan.

That's the thing, the game has run its course for most of us long time 3 year players. The new content isn't very end game heavy, and usually is just boring cutscenes. They make everything take hours to get to, and after a year or 2 of doing it, we couldn't anymore, and POS/Fleetool there rather than waste hours doing the same mundane runs.

This pretty much means it's time for us to quit, I will be quitting on my 4 accounts, 2 of which have mules, 7 75's, more gear than I can think of. I got suspended on 2 of those 4 accounts. I will definately be quitting when they're back though. I don't ever want to play ffxi without POS, or Fleetool. The game is dead to me.

It'll save me 53.80 a month quitting ffxi...

is anyones suspension up and able to log in the game yet? SE said i would be able to log in midnight and its still saying im suspended.

hmmm i can log back on, you might want to call them.

OK, question, can i open new acc using dif name & credit card but using same game i installed?
