SWG getting started : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Maybe I'm just an idiot here...

I installed, registered, troubleshot, and got Xunleashed to launch Starwars: Galaxies...

However, I can't seem to find any indication that Xunleashed is running behind it. No icon, no reaction from mousing to the bottom of the screen... Am I missing something?

You need to set your config to SWG in the options tab. Then click on the xunleashed tab and click play. It should launch SWG and you will probably see the yellow XUnleashed in the upper left corner. You can also check your xunleashed.log in the log tab for errors.

I went throughthe same thoing. until I did these steps (hope they work for you)
I uninstalled, deleted and then reinstalled a fresh Unleashed.
Then I started the game, and in the start screed options...
I set the game resolution in game to be smaller than my regular Resolution (ingame is 1024x768)
I turned off Windowed mode.
I got into the game and it works fine.
After I had it working fine, I let the game and reset my windowed mode to start up.
And its all good now. The bar even works in windowed mode for me.

I use the no borders window mode if it makes any difference.
