Any good anymore? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Title says it all, I left 6+ months ago, leaving behind 4 toons (2 master artisans, 2 Master Jedi) with bunkers and house up the !@#$%^&* loaded with Pre-CU-Current items. I have been playing since Pre-CU, I run the Bloodfin EMU server, however still need my SWG fix it seems like.

Is the game even worth returning to? Ive got ~27mil creds, and a ton of stuff. Also, is there anyone on bloodfin here that would possibly be able to check to see if my houses exist or let me know if anyone I used to play with still plays (Guilds: CIA, VIII)

Its still a decent game overall.

In my oppinion, the game is pretty much dead. Most of the areas are ghost towns, and the preset classes just really killed the original spirit of the game. Sad I am, for I had to close up my shop when my store went from hotspot to notspot, as players stopped caring to buy stuff. Getting resources at good prices is insane now as well, as the 90% of the huge resource farms have closed down.

i have toons on the bloodfin server. do you remember where about your houses were at? perhaps the exact names that were on them if possible.

In my opinion. Come back now but don't jump in the deep end. The new beast master system is just as complex and fun as crafting once felt. Chapter 8 is bringing in new space ships for those pilots out there. Storyteller is a new feature that allows players to host events on there own without running to support every 2 seconds. I have a weekly event every week with my crew and we get a good turn out. I'll post some of the screenies if you want.

Overall come back now, get some of these limited publish rewards, get familiar with the system a little. Then around chapter 7-8 is when everyone will be back. Right now with Chapter 6 I came back along with about 100 others who are my friends on my server alone. Just make sure you don't jump in with your hardcore helmet on.

Its not worth playing anymore

The devs really screwed up Beast Master by requiring complicated components with RARE reseources

Plus LVL 90 pets are easy to kill in PVP, so u feel like u wasted ur time leveling your pet.

they are not like they used to be in the PRE CU days.

DOn't even try REprocessing HYDROLASE Enzymes unless u have DEEP pockets!

U are required to get Hydrolase from Krayts which u can't kill without a group.

ANd you need expertise points set in BM template to run your pet. If u'r PVP combat you cant afford to have ur extra natural abilities taken away.
