Patches? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

I was going to try out the free trial of SWG and when i download it I had to download some patches. The 1st one took about 3 hours, but the 2nd one said 36 hours..so exactly how many patches will i need to download just to play this game.

I wouldnt think you'd need ALL of them, depending on which version of the trial you got. But yes, there is quite a few of them. Theres all the Chapters and hotfixes for them. You might be sitting there for a good while...

Yes it takes hours to update from nothing, but if u have cable 768 meg and a dual or quad core cpu with over 2 gigs memory then its much less.
