Alright With new Layout? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Hey guys just wanted to give a heads up before we apply it. We finally got the back end done. So no we can apply the easier layout. Its basically the same thing just with less annoying links on the side. Makes reading posts easier for smaller screens and other parts. However if the SWG people really hate it we can avoid it lol.

The new layout has some nice perks where it will show the latest things on the side and have it set up so a news feed will be shown from the swg site (or another if its more popular)

With the new update, will we be able to see if members are premium again? And our points?

Points are incoming. Doing ranks as we speak

There we go ranks are done now everyone have nice ranks for them. Mods have green, admin has red, premium have blue, regular under 50 posts says basic, active is over 50 posts.

Not sure if I'm too fond of the bar being moved to the right side, but that's just me. Besides that, seems all good

Well ro4r it will only be for the main page. The other pages are much cleaner. Here is an example for you.

http://www.taultunleashed.com/rift/ - You can see how it has the stuff on the right side its mainly just going to be a single ad and then latest stuff including news. Then when you actually go into a section or a post it changes for example.

The right side is just a cleaner way of showing latest stuff on the site for just the main section page. It is also different when you arent logged in.

Thanks, I know we all appreciate the hard work involved in fixing the place up.

Well its needed and i think it helps the swg area more. Its pretty easy for members to move around now. The next major thing is going to be fixing the ability to do points again and adding a custom shout box at the top for premmy members only to chat .

Give it a little time tho big update is being applied as we speak for the chatting app. Might take a bit for it to fully update the databases. But if all goes well we can chat instantly with this new things. It will be set so only premmy can comment on it but anyone can read it. I think thats best.
