I just renewed my subscription to this site. When my subscription expired a couple years ago, I rememeber talk about private precu servers coming out. Anyone have any info on this?

http://www.swgemu.com - it's still in beta, but they run two testcenter servers, afaik. Have not checked the project for a while now, but last time I did, they've just added housing and cities.

The emu have been working at it for several years. A testement to their devotion to making Pre cu a reality. 2 servers, test, bugs and the opportunity to be partof a cool community!

I remember hearing that there were private servers that were working, and had more than the betas do from the swgemu.com site. I remember being told that the servers were up and working with all the precu stuff. I was never able to find any of these servers, just the mostly dead test center servers swgemu.com provides.

If anyone knows of any precu or prenge servers i can play on please let me know because id love to go back and mix and match professions to my liking, like the good ole days.

For anyone still checking out this thread, SWGEmu is up and running in alpha. JTL has not been implemented and probably won't be for a while, but the official SWGEmu Basilisk server has a pretty active community.

Its actually pretty nice work compared to Liberator.

The only SWGemu server not run by the EMU team that I know of is Exile, do a google on it.

And why was this thread locked? I see no reason for it.

Yeah, me as well. Which is why I unlocked it. Crazy !@#$%^&* mods!!! lol

But really there's a lot of good work going on in the EMU.

Yea i heard people are enjoying it. I really have no clue why the hell they closed it down. Its like sony didnt understand they could do F2P. All i can think of is lucas wanted some crazy fee for keeping the royalties. Also im going to clean up this page and make it akin to the GW2 one. More open sections, save for a few select items for premmy eyes only.

Sounds good. I was gonna do GW2 but EMU launched the Basilisk server and there was fun in SWG again!
