Don't know how I did this but maybe someone can duplicate. enter your vehicle, if you have one, ride towards your mining extractor when your with in 10m-20m click on the extractor and select the hopper as you pass the extractor pull your resources from the extractor

When you are notified you are not close enough to the extractor it will close the terminal, look in your inventory and see if you pulled any resources, if you did check the extractor again, I had everything I pulled plus another full quantity waiting to be pulled again.

I also had routed my vehicle in circles to try and keep my distance close enough to the extractor to use the hopper
