Ok Im not sure how exactly this works, I am a jedi so I can't test it but I heard some Medics (that completely pawn me, which is rare even for medics to do) talking about it. Suposably you can mix and match maxed stat layered energy armor and kenetic armor to achieve awsome stats. So take a suit of 8k energy armor and mix with a suit of 8k kenetic armor and by using certian pieces in certian areas you can come up with like 6500-7000 on all resists in you character sheet. Can someone test this for me?

Yes it works i have riz and bh gives me 7000 ken 6540 energy

With no buffs, I have 7352 kinetic protection and 8148 energy protection and 6000 elemental. I use Shocktrooper pants, chestplate, and the 4 arm pieces, and a Mandalorian helmet. The armor was crafted by a friend of mine, whos the best armorsmith on the server.

Of course, I'm seeing a lot of what was mentioned in another thread, about some players taking very little damage and beating the snot outta me in a handful of hits. It may be that I'm a bit rusty, I've just recently come back after two months away from the game and I'm trying to figure out this expertise thing. (I'm a bounty hunter, by the way)

One expertise option that helped boost my stats was using primarly kinetic armor, and getting the energy armor expertise option, and getting the shield and duelist stance. With all of those active, my armor protection according to my character sheet, I have a hair under 20k energy and kinetic protection for about 30 seconds.

Im around 8k/8k/5.5k with full assault armour and using the energy armour expertise.

Dosnt matter realy, you dont have to mix and match div armor, I have 9085 Kinetic, 8585 Energy and the rest 6000 ea in protection i wear only 1 type of armor. What happends tho is if you mix div armor types you dont always get more, the best way is to stick with your type of armor that mostly gives you more Protection, but the only div in all types is if you can get your hands on 4 stat mod armor, mostly there lower in Protection but worth it.
