Macro: Faction and Credits (Imperial) Farming : SWG Premium Discussions

Not sure if this has been posted already, i remember it from the Pre-NGE days so I will post it, if it has already been posted just delete it.

Go to the Weapons Depot on Talus (if your imperial) and find a room with a lot of rebel NPC's (i go to -4874 -3177 on the first level (dont go down an elevator)).

Setup a macro called loot that looks like this:

/loot;
/macro loot;

Then setup another macro called farm. In the macro you need to have an area attack that can be used WITHOUT having an enemy targeted, for example on my bounty hunter i use razor net.

Put that area attack in the 4th slot on your toolbar. In the macro named farm add:

/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/pause 10;
/macro farm;

That will use, in my case razor net, every 10 seconds, so when the rebel npc's spawn again and come after me (because they use melee combat only) my razor net will go off and kill them thus getting me the exp. Also the loot macro loots a majority of the NPC's once you position your cursor where most of them die (you will notice a general area where they pile up, just put the cursor there).

There you have it, leave your computer on and you will be able to get tons of FP and a small ammount of credits without touching anything.

If your on bloodfin, and see Kalvaris Czerka at that spot (at the waypoint i indicated), leave because thats my spot

Note: You can have your area attack in any slot, they start at 00 then go to 11, where 00 is slot 1 and 11 is the = slot. If you want it in slot 9 for example change it to /ui action toolbarSlot10;

YOU NEED TO HAVE ACTIONS CAN BE FIRED FROM TOOLBAR ENABLED IN YOUR OPTIONS > KEYMAP

Summary:
Create two macros,
Macro Named loot:
/loot;
/macro loot;

Macro Named farm:
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/pause 10;
/macro farm;

And put an area attack in the 4th slot on your toolbar that does NOT require an enemy to be targeted, like the bounty hunter Razor Net.

Run the macros, its that easy.

Guide has been updated. And make sure your area attack is NOT a weapon based one! For example the bounty hunter razor net, or the Commando Mine, you should be able to use this macro WITHOUT a weapon in your hands!
