Be more than one class at the same time : SWG Premium Discussions

Let's see, I server x-ferred a character (unfortunately, he was low level and not a double-class which I'd prefer), then, I used my old character respec kit after first picking a class first time logging in (not sure if this firstly chosen class, or the class you were before the x-fer will permanently become attached to you) and respecced to another class, for instance... Jedi. BAM! I have all the skills upto the level you were in that first class, PLUS, all the skills for the new class you chose. Keep in mind, it's best to save the server transferring until you are level 90 in whatever class you want to permanently keep the skills for, so that you keep them all. Now, why does this rock? You'll have at least 2 types of heals, you'll have very nice skills (which you'll need to be sneaky with) on top of your current template's skills. For instance, imagine say... an original spy, respecced to jedi... use those stealth skills all you want, it'll look like cloak, only better! Plus, u can bleed your foes/etc ontop of having all the usual jedi skills; and once again, the best feature: you'll have your spy heal AND your jedi heal. Now, where I am uncertain is whether you must use the old character respec devices after the transfer or if it will work when you speak to the class lady in Eisley, but I used the respec device the first time, noticed I still had my original skills, then tried respeccing through her and still always had that original class's skills no matter what class I chose. Sidenote: it might be possible to even be every class, if you server-transfer again after that initial multi-class; rinse and repeat, but I'm unsure and too poor to try.

k, haven't played SWG in a while, and just discovered it. didn't see any posts about it, but I suppose they are old enough to have been pushed to other pages. anyways, still works currently.

True, but it was thought to be nerfed iirc. It's interesting to know it still works and details on how this person was able to accomplish it.

well, I already said what I did and I'm still multi-class even today, doing it was obviously an accident so I don't actually know of a method set in stone. It obviously took a server transfer (while being class A); then respeccing/renaming (might not have respecced on initial login, but I think I did) on login. I also know that I used one of the old class respec kits-which has some very strange name now, such as "tangible object", then the number of charges left. Actually, now that I think about it, I remained "class A" when I first logged in and renamed, because it was recently patched in the expertise system for that class, so I wanted to check it out. Then I suppose I used one of my old character respecc kit charges because I was in the middle of restuss and didn't want to go to a class profession. So, there; I suppose that's as best of a "specifics-esque" method to do it. G'luck to you all, and don't abuse it like some azzhats on my server whom are combinations of Spy/Medic/Commando. They're simply retarted when it comes to making it obvious.
