All 3x attachments w/ 1 master trader and a trial acount : SWG Premium Discussions

Something a friend and I discovered by accident but is very useful. We are too cheap to each maintain 3 master traders so we make attachments for each other. One day we had a potentially disasterous accident and learn something quite helpful.

What we discovered is that when REing stuff, the item that determines the type of multi-stat attachment is the first order attachment. And... when making attachments the trader's skill or RE enhancement is not a factor in determing the attachment's power.

Example:

Master domestics trader wants to make 3x +35 armor attachments for his combat toon. He creates all the + 35 first order power bits and mods bits he needs for the set of armor (like 9 +35 first order bits and 9 constitution bits).

Create a munitions trader trial account and get him off Tansari Station, this takes about 30 minutes with a trader.

Newb trader hits the ground and you take him to your domstics trader. Domestics trader trades to the new munitions trader all 9 power bits and all 9 mod bits and his RE tool.

New munitions trader makes 9 each +35 constitution armor attachments. and trades them and the tool back to the domestics trader. You are now done with the munitions trader until the next time you want to make AA's.

Now, at your leisure you can make all your +35 second and third order bits and mod bits for your attachments. As long as he uses the +35 AA your munitions trader made for the first 2x attachment and has the expertise for mult-stat attachments, you can craft the 3-stat +35 armor attachments whenever you want (+35 con AA + +35 second order power bit + precision mod bit= +35 constitution/+35 presicion armor attachment).

Doing this isn't really an exploit but it definitely saves time and credits not having to grind up 3 master traders or find friends to make your attachments for you.

Not so much an exploit, more of a guide. Sounds good, I'll sort out a trial account and test it.

to clarify, i think he is saying thatthe armorsmith (trial account) makes the first single statattach, trades it back to your DE or whatever, your DE is spec'ed out for multistat attachments (would be weapon attachments normally) but if he puts the armor attach in the tool and adds another attachment it will com out of the tool as an armor attachment (so you made a 3 stat AA without a master armorsmith)

Mm think my english isnt that good then but is it like this?

My master Armorsmith makes 1,2nd and 3th powerbits plus the 3 modifier bits BUT i want CA instead of AA so
My trial account lvl 5 domistic takes 1th power and mod bit into the RE tool and makes an CA with +35 since he cannot make the 2nd and 3th i give the CA back to my master Armorsmith,
And he puts the CA in his re tool put an 2nd powerbit and mod and then same with 3th bit and then it stays an 3X35 CA?
So my lvl90 Armorsmith finish the item as an CA instaed of an AA?

Sorry for the inconvenient :)

This is useful, have a tailor myself, but can be a pain sometimes to find a DE and AS.
