You can spawn a gold one by having 2 accounts one account having an entertainer with 3 holos and a droid.He is leader of group and will be taking up 4 slots in group.Bring you main guy to the spot where your gonna extract treasure.Invite him to group he also needs a droid.Log out main and load alt invite him to group as soon as you click yes log him out and load main pull out droid and extract treasure.When I did this i let all other group members die.I ran and cloaked as soon as they spawned then picked them off one by one.First time i killed them all and got a really nice item.The next 2 I did same way every time I got a gold one to spawn with a lot of regular 90's.But my 2nd and third attempt I could not kill the gold one lost 2 treasures.Any ideas on how to beat one solo.The first one the one I killed somehow did not regain his health after I cloaked I had all kinds of time to regen and regen my droid.He stayed at half power.Also what is best for jedi to stack.

Sure it works but is rather pointless. Everything that drops from boxes run with a full group also drops from boxes run solo (collection pieces, jedi/sith holocrons, and yes even the buff crystals). Only real reason to waste your time doing it this way is if you are trying to farm stat loot for REing, from the additional NPCs. Otherwise the box only spawns an additional two pieces of junk usually.

Question: Do jedi/sith holocrons drop on any planet, or only from treasure maps on Dathomir & Dantooine?

there is no point to doing this ... plus it take allot of effort logging in and out and dead players.

you dont need a full group to get any item ... they all drop solo even the buff stones , I use to run them with a friend and we would bring an entertainer for a full group .. anyway it was allot of bother ... the loot is often different in a group ... like more schematics but then less pearls infact ive never got a prem pearl in a group and we ran hundreads of maps a week ... with 4 full time forage macro alts running 24/7 ... and ive never seen ANY collection piece drop in a group ... but ive looted several sith 4/5 WP while solo ... Ive also gotten a buff stone solo and never got one in a group ...Ive been told in SWG forums that these will only drop in a group ... so obviously thats wrong.


I dont know how it works but i do know ALL items drop solo I've confirmed this myself ...and you can do maps dam fast solo... there is one thing better about a group of Large jedi spawning ... more cloting items to loot ... thats it ... and honestly the DWB or killing faction npc's in Any player SF base drops way better stat clothing ... always +23 too +25 and up to 4 stats is very common... the Jedi can drop some ok stuff but its mostly +18 pieces.
