Double Socket Rumor : SWG Premium Discussions

So I've been hearing some rumors of people running around with double socketed clothing. Just clothing, not armor. So basically just Jedi.

Is there any insight to this? Or even a possibility of this being true?

Might be clothes from before they patched double sockets.

For a day (Can't remember what GU off hand) armor/clothing and weapons? could be bugged to have 2 sockets I believe. I've never encountered any myself, but I'm sure some traders have it. There is a thread in the GPD on the "status" (lol). They are fairly rare though and probably worth a fortune

So the effect can't be recreated anymore then?

My knowledge of trader is very limited, but from what I understand you gain the socket during the Assembly process of the craft.

Doing an individual craft, would unplugging your router at the same time that you hit Assemble possibly bug it?

double socket on clothing as far i've seen are from old be cloth that leave socket open whit the current mod in and an open one.
Too bad the old mods don't work.
I tried to use a retrofit tool in many ways since i had some of those clothes but seem there is no way to have the cloth with 2 socket.

Too bad i can't seem to find a shirt with unarmed damage mod on it to try if stacking it with a new exotic "reactivate" the mod for the full value.. anyone tried it?

I have seen double stated clothing and it is common. There was only one day way back when that you could make it but alot of people DID make a whole suit of it, so more folks have it than you think. Someone on my server got caught for having it and was banned.
