Hey everyone,
I have read through these whole forums and could not locate what I was looking for. Looking for a script to use in SWG for crafting and experimenting on Pet Food. Anyone got one of these? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. :D

I think I got a free respec on my trader left... I'll give it a look in a few days if nobody beats me to it in the meanwhile, kind of busy lately.

Oh, that would interest me too :-)
I think the problem might be the handling of the experimentation points!

Hey,

Like I said in the PM you might have to let folks know what is need in crafting the food. I have all the crafters but have never made the food.

Roar, if you have this already going let me know so I can keep pushing on the office bot and the updated afk crafting bot.

Okay well if you are an SWG crafter you have the basic knowledge of what is needed.

Pet food is crafted by Tailors. The script will need to be able to select the schematic, input the resources/components (certain pet foods require components), then input the experiment points and experiment. Once the experimentation is done then it is just a matter of completing the product.

I could use the regular crafting ingame macro that ppl use to grind their crafters but that ingame macro does not allow for experimentation. Using the experimentation is what gives you the only important thing about experimenting on pet food and that is the quantity of the food.

If I can be of anymore help just let me know.

Is there a reason you are not doing factory runs on your foods? I guess I'm missing the point in needing to hand craft a bunch of food when you are not grinding levels or what not.

Working on it, definitely is doable and will be usable for other items as well, adjustable amount of tools used, and shouldn't hang on busy tools.

Edit:
Just realized some tools have multiple experimentation rows, but food only has one (Right?), so it will only work with one of those rows for now.

Does anyone have an idea on how to make the chat bugger off? Sometimes when I press one of the toolbar keys (1 to =) and the final crafting window is still finalizing, it interprets it as a chat, and puts focus to there.

Simply clicking somewhere else on the UI does not solve this, nor does this always happen. either I'll have to add an extra check (Which confuses some people on my REing script), or have the users remap their keys... The latter seeming a really bad idea lol.

Suggestions? Am I missing a shortcut to close the chat? (Enter won't work because IF the chat is not active, it'll just activate it and we're back where we started)

Edit: (Again)
I went with the extra input one, as that just feels a lot more solid. Running a test now on one tool, if this holds up for a bit I'll try using multiple tools (Lol, didn't do that yet. Should work), and if that works i'll up it in the submitted section

Edit2:
