Private server? : AC Discussion

Has anyone succeeded in making one, or does anyone know how to make one, i mean come on if they could do it with WoW, i see no reason why one couldnt be done for AC, and dont say its too old, because they have EQ ones and that came out 3 months before AC did.

I know there used to be like 6, but they all got Cease and desist orders, does anyone have the source files to those perhaps?
