Need help checking servers emulator : RO Discussion

Firstly I do have to apologize if the forums already have a guide in checking the emulator of a private server. I tried to search it but with no results in that area.

Secondly could someone post a guide on that area. I really have no clue where to check if the server is based on eAthena or Freya etc.

If the guide is only for premium users, could you post that for me so I know to search from elsewhere.
