I've been hearing rumors that NCSOFT finally went and did something about the programs used to bot.

I guess they are going after the developers that made Walker and Wind and threatening them.

If they didn't make money off it (when the dumbarses decieded to sell their program for a monthly fee lol) I dont think they could sue them for anything. Im no law expert so thats just my opinion.

I myself love walker and would definitely stop playing L2 if this was true lol.

South Koreas Laws are different the USA.

See awhile back a company called xylosoft was sued by everquest because they had just a eq1 specific bot.

Xunleashed is just a 3rd party tool that you can use to run it inside of games. We do not have it working so when you buy it it is built for a specific game you download the service 3rd party people make and use it.

There is a reason we have xunleashed run like it does so situations like that wont happen.

I find it a bit odd that those distributors got 2 years in jail and only paid 10k. Something seems off in that article maybe it says they can face up to 2 years in jail and pay 10k if convicted guilty. Or also maybe they where actually hacking into the game with a program and manipulating the server files.

Yeah, then again their government don't !@#$%^&* around. People have been saying that this will only affect the Korean side of the game, as well as the walker version.

NA servers will see little to no difference with using walker in game...big woot!

anyways its harder and harder to find Token of new servers, because lots of servers now has their own guard system...But its isnt impossible
And IG bots easier too use and just few servers has guard from them
I think IG will dominate in future

wow so now lineage is doing somethign diff about the bot now..

if the NCSOFT really smart they should just do wat they been doing ban the people that use the bot..cuzz if they ban the bot user than he lose everything..a and he make another acc and gotta pay again to play.. if they really smart than they no if u bot they let u play till the month end and u pay than bam they ban u.. so u gott make another acc to play again.. so they get 2 paymanet in one month u .. hahah.. but i dont think NCSOFT will do that..
