L2 Vs DAOC? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

I was thinking about starting up a new MMORPG and L2 was the one that cought my eye. Anyone tell me what they like about the game? Or can someone who has played DAOC maybe compare the two.

L2 when i played was a dupe fest... its an item based game, every item is for sale on NPC vendors... credits are EXTREMELY EASY to dupe with lag exploits. So your dupers buy THE BEST weapons and game over... when we played we made alts, level 4 mages (so you dont lose items when red) gave them the best no rank bow... and basicly slaughtered level 20 players all day... the devs didnt really seem to care about the exploits, and from what i read on various message boards they are still happening.

Is it a good game? Yes, if not for the dupes, dupers, and GM's that dont care.
