easy fame in windurst. Buy Cornettes from music shop in bastok markets. With max fame they're about 210. use them for Madragora-Mad quest from Yoran-Oran in windurst walls. You get back 200 for each cornette. two full inventories (50 slots) and i was max fame. cost only 1000 gil.

It will only be cheap if you have max fame in bastok, otherwise the cost will rise on the cornettes.

Shouldnt be too hard since I'm from Bastok, and I have high fame there anyway. Not exactly sure how high tho. But this exploit gets you max fame in two cities for almost the price of one =)

It's not an exploit. It's simply a repeatable quest. here's the full skinny on fame. you can get rank 9 fame without doing any quests in any city for less than 10k. the trick?

Million Corn

Selbina Quest. there is an old man with two sheep wanting feed. 3 ears of corn. you can buy corn at a NPC vendor. (Look around town or ask) and trade him the corn. you will make most of you money back.

This single quest builds fame in SanDoria, Bastok, Selbina, Rabo, Jueno

Cornette Quest. as explained above.

This single quest builds fame in Windhurst,Kazhaam, Mhara

just buy doing two simple quests you have covered all towns for fame. now that you have rank 9 fame in every town you have access to all quests and avatars. also you can get rank 10 fame. (it doesnt have a fame message.) and with rank 10 fame comes very generous price deductions at stores. and increased revenue of items sold to NPC vendors.

I forgot to mention, I believe bastok cannot be last in conquest or else you cannot buy coronettes from the song shop. Bastok hasnt' been in last place on my server in a while, but i think i remember this as being true. Just so you know.

Well I tried this but low and behold... I cant buy them. Bastok on my server has been last in conquest for about 2 months or so... damit =P
