Need info on bots : General Discussion

Ok, so I am wondering what type of things I need to learn to create a bot. I know I should learn stuff about packets and C++ to put the program together but like what exactly is the process of creating the bot and can someone lead me in the right direction to learn how to do all the things required to make a bot.I really am interested in learning how and I just need some brief answers telling me exactly what I need to learn for me to start learning things and being able to eventually make something.
