No dude. People don't die from manta ray hits usually.

the venom is extruciatingly painful, but its rarely fatal.

Yeah if it were off he wouldnt've died. people don't usually die from that. if you read most papers said that.

Lets Clear this up.

He died due to the barb hiting his heart. This is extremely rare because he wasnt aggressive or anoying the Sting ray, they only attack when feel scared/fear

BUT, if it just missed his heart he still would died, the Poisen was to close to his blood stream and vital organ, it woulda made him have a slow painful death cos the speed of docters were to slow the scene

The worst part is that he was filming that thing to go on the show his daughter Bindi was going to host. I feel bad for his family.
