Right now, dont macro unattended, and you are pretty safe.

what do you mean by that.. "right now"?
1) right now attended macroing is safe but eventually may not be?
or
2) eventually [insert feature here] will make it safe to afk macro..?

LOL, I always love it when questions like that come to boards like this. They are everywhere you go.

1. Can you get caught? Yes, if they really wanted to expend the effort to make sure no one cheated.
2. Will I get banned? If you do something really stupid, more than likely.

You just have to ask yourself is the possible benefit worth the risk. For me its a no brainer. EQ2 isnt fun if I have to follow the rules. If I get banned, oh well. Life goes on.

I dont think any one of the admins will ever say "YES, I AM 100% CERTAIN YOU WILL NOT GET CAUGHT" To do so would be silly. To ask is even more silly.

In short, use at your own risk. And if you do, dont do stupid things to get caught Not a flame, Just my comments :P

I use Macros everytime i craft, but never did it unattended for more than a few minutes. In EQ2 actually i didn't use any XU function. But i plan something like the EQ2 Crafter in future (But first i have to understand the crafting perfectly befor)

The XU is for me a platform for creating small but helpfull tools like RVR Rank list for DAoC or show up some infos without alt-tab.

And mainly in DAoC, the Realtime Chat logger for Text2Speech engine. (So i want RC14 really)
For EQ2 my Chatlog2Speech tool aktually did not work, i didn't know why actually. But i will find it.
