Skilling unused skills up. : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I was wondering if anyone has tips on skilling melee oriented skills up, ones that have fallen behind from using a different damage type. Is there a more efficient way to do it than just equipping the weapon and whacking things. Which is better, grays or greens, etc.

As for ranged I've discovered a really lazy way to get those skills up: Load up on ammo using the quiver or sack and locate a place where you can stand on land and throw or fire on fish. The encounter will break after every shot giving you a training dummy of sorts.

I would say green if you want loot and xp. But grey's work just as well, and I don't believe that skill ups have anything to do with level of mobs. Skill ups go up rather fast...

If you lvl up your self whit collection quests I suggest you to take so many grey mobs ( of course so low lvl that they cant harm you meaning that your hp regen gives you more hp than they deal ) that you can take then then let them hit you so long that your defence / parry / block maxes you can go for a smoke while youre doing this or anything else but make sure that they cant kill you!!! about getting your combat/spellcasting skills up just join a group and get them up... so easy... and it doesnt matter if the mobs are grey or green your skills will go up fast anyways...
