Easy Money at low levels : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

With the two new tradeskill classes that are out, its pretty darn easy to make money now!

How to:

Create a new character and get it to level 4, lock your exp. Kill the lvl 1 mobs. Harvest 'Leaded Loam' as well.

Why?

With transmuting out, you can easily get 5-10g for an adept book on the broker.

Tinkering requires TONS of loams, to even get out of T1 it takes roughly 1000-3000 depending on how much you get skill ups.

Where:

The level 1 monsters right at th beginning of the noob island. This works for both sides.

Harvest the rocks that give you tin/leaded loam. The noob island was designed to ge people to level up fast in both adventure level and tradeskill level. These rocks pop literally every 20-30 seconds making it easier to get them fast. You can even harvest one set of nodes and run to another, harvest those and by the time you get back, the first ones are already spawned.

Other Notes:

Get some bags off the broker when you first start, letting your character hold more means that you can get more at a time!

I thought leaded loams are by products of transmuting.

Nope, they are harvested from Ores. I had to do this with an alt to get enough leaded loam to start tinkering, as the mainland newbie zones were overcamped with node harvesters. Definitely a good way to make some coin, especially if you can throw it in a shared bank and list it on another toon.

Don't think so unless you can start Fae on the Newbie isle.

You might b able 2 but it wont b as easy or effective, wat i did with my transmuter is i made lvl 8 warlock locked & got adpet 3 of spells & just pwn'd mobs left & right. it got my transmuting skill from 0-200 cheaply

higher level conj + PBAOE + level 9 noob + mentor + oakmist forest = Dead frogs and spider x lots of faster treasue chest.
