VPN & AIM combination? : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

After talking with another member about VPN's I started thinking.. Go figure...

Anyway is there any VPN software out there that would work fast enough for you to monitor your toon while it is running a script and maybe even do a sound if you get a tell or something so you could reply directly?

Just run a VNC server on your gaming box, and a viewer at work when you need to check on or restart your bot. It's a bit of a bandwidth hog when you're running the VNC connection, but you're only gonna have the window open a short time. I've used it to craft over my lunch hour many times.
