Whew - Feel better - one less bug, now I hope Taz has the same issue

yea its turning... and i set the game from numlock to insert for the key... and i know that is still set because i keep trying to hit numlock to autorun and he goes no wear hehehe.. hit insert and he runs like he should... i will go through the ini. line by line soon as i get home.. and through the key set up in game 1 more time. if i can't get him running then i'll email you log so we can figure this out. Other than that the bot is working awesome 99 hammers at a time

Check your RandomRunRange setting. If it's set too low, the bot might not run - try 10.

Also make sure RandomRunMode=CLOSESTSCON

I have correct a lot of little things in the bot, but basic running should be fine.

Also, to do testing of just the run, try setting:
TestMode=10 and 11

Ok, I reviewed your log and think I know what's going on.

You have no spells to "pull" the mob. Nothing it setup for InitialCombatSeq or PerMobCombatSeq.

Right now, the script is hardcoded that if you are within 20 ticks, it will think you can cast something that distance, so won't move closer... in the coming version, this will be user settable. It appears you need it set to 0 or 1, meaning you have to be right on top of the mob to attack - does this sound right? Are you expecting the bot to run right up to the mob?

If so, you can do a temp fix on it that I posted in this thread:

Change EQ2MEGABot_MainFunctions_v24.vbss, lines 615 & 618:

Replace with the following code:
line 615: if mobDist > 1 then
line 618: Call RunToLoc(mobX, mobY, -1, FALSE, 0.25)

10 did nothing... 11 located a target and turned in that direction but didn't move.... hmmmmm

aye... i'm a melee with no pull spells LOL... lemme check distance on my taunt... maybe i can find something to stick in it. because only being able to run for 99 hammers won't work for long

well actually no thats not the problem rich... even when pulling with hammers if something was out side the hammer range of 27m the bot didn't move anywhere

but i did wake up this morning and it had worked great for 99 hammers again

i noticed on my spells there is no range listed. where can i find out the range on my skills/spells? i would like to maybe use a low pwr taunt as pull if its long enough range. even after we fix this problem moving. or i wonder if there is a way we can set up to load ranged slot with another stack from inventory?

Great Script rich! I've been playing around with this and loving it. Its nice to leave your character and have it level for you..

One problem I ran into is, I"m level 41, and to me a level 36 is green to me. The script detects it as a grey and skips it.

Where would I edit this in the script?

I cant wait till the new version is released...

I'm also having a problem with the BOT not running anywhere. However, on STANDSTILL it works great, as I just put the character in one place.

Back to the problem, the BOT will move for a little distance then stop. I'm expecting the BOT to run to anything it see's, what would the distance need to be set for this?

I think it need better detection for when your being attacked. Like "YOU, but misses" should trigger a fight back atempt. (OFFENSIVE ONLY)

I'm currently getting a message Min Power to fight : 50 STOP. I thought this was BUFFBOT only.

All and all this rocks. I cant wait till the next version, when will that be? =)
