[CLOSED] Change Name of Item : EverQuest 2 Submissions

Ok i have had alot of people ask me while i play how do i change the link name of an item, its actually really simple here is what you have to do. For this example i will be using my (Feysteel Epee)

Open Notepad, Wordpad, or Microsoft Word

Drag the item to the chat bar as if you were going to link it

Copy the Linked item and then go to what ever text program you are using

Paste the linked item by either right clicking and hitting paste or CNTRL+V

You should get something link this \aITEM 859261155 1494953790:[feysteel epee]\/a

Change the part that says [Feysteel epee] to any name like [oranges taste good]

After you have done that it should look like this \aITEM 859261155 1494953790:[oranges taste good]\/a

now you copy \aITEM 859261155 1494953790:[oranges taste good]\/a into the game chat bar and paste it using cntrl+v

You Now know how to change the link of an item
