Warrior Health : GW Discussion

Hi, I just bought guild wars just over 2 weeks now and I'm at lvl 20 but with low health, meanwhile I always hear warriors with around 800hp, I know superior runes help with this but u can only hav one superior vigor on ur armor, then its just major and minor, how do they jack up their health so high?

its a stance called "endure pain," jacks your maximum health up a LOT when you have high skill.

o really, i have endure pain and defy pain and i use them both, i go to 1k health, but nobody really has their helath at like 800 permanetly?

nope

all warrs have their hp about the same (depending on atr) but usually they use those 2 skills to boost it

590 is normal max for warriors and that is level 20+sup vigor+ shield with +30 health and sword or axe with +30 healh mod.

However I have seen with a 1000+ constant how it is done I do not know but it is. Just reciently I have seen one with 748, one with 1024 and another with an unbelieable 1721.

I have heard of a rumored "rune of the gods" that supposed to give +500 health prehaps it is real, though I would have to see it to believe it.

with defy pain+endure pain+vital blessing i reach 11xxhp, with a sup vigor u can have some pretty nice hp ^^

1700 life is impossible.

If it were possible.... even with some UBER RARE item, that would be game-breaking for any fight involving that character, and that's exactly the opposite of what Guild Wars is all about.

I'd believe 1000 life, but not 1700.


Unless someone were to post a screenshot and explain what does it for them, in which case you can all tell me to kindly stfu, and I will.

the max ive seen is abotu 1100

and thats using 3 hp boosters and a few sup runes

Cant stack vigor runes and you can only use two hp boosting items at a time like sword and shiled or wand and artifact plus boosting items can only give max +30 each constant.

i meant diferent sup runes

How they do that ? I am lvl 20 , finished last mission two days before and I have 521 helth . That is great , I want too have about 750-1000 helth

Well after playing this game more now I've realized to be a tank you dont need health just be smart with ur skills, when i go to uw of fow i use protective bond on myself and i have 42 energy (no shield equipped) and I use Bonetti's Defense if my energy runs low, with protective bond on you u cant be tooken down easily no matter what ur health is

Pure Meatshield Template is something like this

590 Health as seen above
+286 from Endure Pain (max STR)
+286 from Defy Pain (max STR)
+168 from Vital Blessing
1330 Hit points for around 12-18 seconds


It's cool I guess, but I don't see a reason to use it

Oh, I'm pretty sure 286 is cap on Endure/Defy Pain, it might be 272 though

yeah, the 1700 guy was simply blowing smoke out his !@#$%^&*.


In a PvP setting, chances are that endire/defy pain could be spots better used on something else.

You won't see many 1k hp tanks in PvP.


Plus, since warriors have no ability that FORCES people to attack them... anyone with an ounce of sense will leave the 1300hp warrior alone altogether and kill the rest of the team first.

well actually getting 1700 may not be totally impossible in a team if a ranger just summons the spirit that gives more hp for every enchantment you have on. itd depend on alot of different things but if you had a couple monks maintaining as many enchantments as possible on the tank and the ranger call that spirit it could possibly lead to even more hp than that.
