IS there a "map hack" for guildwars? : GW Guide Discussion

Long ago I saw there was a "map hack" for diablo2.....basically you could see where all the boss' were when you ported into the map.

is there anything like this yet for GW...

even for treasure chests and stuff.

Not that I know of, though there are 3rd party programs that list things like that. There's a Character Builder that includes a map with all the elite skills, I forget where though.

not that im aware of but in internet you can look up bosses locations with their elite skills

I don't know if maphacks for bosses locations but I'm pretty sure they are in the making as we speak.
Search for TEXMOD in the official wiki or in guildwiki.org.
There's a cartographer mod available that will make the "fog" red so you can easily spot where you haven't been in your map.
Texmod use in GW is very recent so there aren't many MODS yet but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a lot of mods very soon.

Well, even now there can be someone writing a program about it, so I guess we'll just have to wait

Yea we made a GW service a map would be relatively easy to make out of that just need to get a programmer on it. We do want to get a programmer however back on guildwars to make a GWExtreme service for it.

I have seen one before on another guild wars hack site before recently. There is one but i cant remember at all where i found it but ill look into it.
But one does exist!

The best program I've seen for that pourpose is mapping iut ad it can be found on guild wars guru; this program contain a list of all the bosses, elites, green weapon and collector of the game except for the ones in Eye of the north

Use Texmod with a cartographer mod, it's a kind of map hack

Yea there is no true map hack for guild wars as it makes not alot of sense how the game is made maybe you are after a radar hack?
