EQ2: 10 silver an hour for Mage/Priest : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

Ok before I get started let me say this is for mages and priest but I am sure scouts and fighters can do this as well but i have not tried this with them. Another thing is that this is with a basic character no spell upgrades. You do need to be lvl 6 to do this but you can start at lvl 5.

Ok with that being said, what you are looking for are two creatures, the Gaint Spiders and Gruttoth Hunters at level 6 they should be green and they spawn so fast that you pretty much kill them non stop having to rest every 20 minutes to refill your power bar but there is pretty much no chance of death here.

So now you know what you are killing lets go over the rewards
1. Goblin meat 8c
2. Goblin parts 7c
3. Arachnid Legs 8c
4. Sand Covered Bracers 95c
5. Jagged Axe 1s 10c

I usually have almost one stack of goblin meats, between 1 and 2 stacks of legs, 4 or 5 misc goblin parts, 2 or 3 axes and 4 or 5 bracers. Plus an added bonus, is that until you decide to leave the island, you can do this. At lvl 6 with 220% exp, both the spiders and the goblins are still green so they will still drop stuff.

I know that this is not the best thing out there but it is easy and consistant money and i do not think that SOE can or will nerf this one. So with a couple of hours you could leave the island with enough silver to up grade your character as soon as you get to your town in addition to gaining 2 levels as soon as you get your citizenship

is there a slash command to loot or do you have to use the mouse?

You can have mouse cursor on the corpse and press "default action" key ('f' by default)

Thats nothing, im making 10-25 gold a day on my level 23 ranger legit too.

10s an hour...is this supposed to be a joke, as soon as you get to lvl 20 you should be able to make 1g an hour at the bare minumum

Ya know guys Broden could have just been sharing knowledge. Sure being that he has posted over 450 times up here one might think he would know it's all about the mad cash now but still he could have just been being nice and sharing.

Xeorn since your doing much better why don't you fill us in on your method, I didn't see your post in the guides area on how to make that much.

Well I dont like to share most of my exploits and such buuuuut I guess I will. ( better get points for this ). Probobly gonna need to be able to kill a few lvl 20 mobs or grey them out to do this. Go to Stormhold then Atrium. Collect bones/spiders in atrium for awhile. Go to your house sell them for 10 silver a peice. Always sell them in under an hour too. Helpful when you get enough to buy a 20 slot box to do this.

Found this while I was on the newbie Island, I am assuming it is still there, but it is good for about 20-30s an hour, find the gobbies holding the captives prisoner, kill those, they drop chests with a wep that sells for 1s 50c or something, fairly common that you get a chest, and this is one of the only things that comes out of the chest... great for newbies...
