Lose agro in the dwb ( please read for premium ) : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

my self and a few of my friends online ( goneirvaita eisia, Dark'moo, Lipps vega ) have done this many times to lose agro or avoid death blow in the death watch bunker. once you have a super battle droid or anything else there on you and you need to lose them quick this is what you do, 2 options

1: get atleast 10 meters away and begin to run in circles, occasionaly turning as you do so ( face another direction )

2: head for one of the square rooms, such as the room with the technician who tell you what you need for mandalorian armor, or the room with the first keypad for key a and one in circles there, go down either of the two small ramps and round around the edge.

these are NOT ALWAYS GARUNTEED to work , but most of the time ( 90%-100% of the time ) the agroed npcs will leave and return to their spawn points, but in the event of them not leaving and if you desperately do not want to have to clone, attack all npcs in the area with a yellow name, seeing as in these don't death blow it gives you a betetr chance of being incapacitated rather then death blown

edit: basically what you do is you move in circles rotating the camera as well, thus the game thinks you're constantly changeing directions... so what this means is the gamme thinks you';re still running and putting a greater distance between you and your agro when you're really remaining in the same area

SO what you're saying is, if you run away, you MIGHT have a chance of losing agro?

I know what you're saying. Thanks for the PM, but I can lose agro just by running away. Of course its very situational, as it depends on how many are in the room you are running to, but generally NPC dont follow you far in the DWB, maybe the next room, but thats about it.

That first key room you can lose agro just running around the outside. You dont get agro from the back of the room.

Usually by the time I run into Technician rooms ive lost the agro by distance.

If i'm misunderstanding what you are saying, then please explain the scenario a little better and ill be glad to reassess my view, but to me it sounds like its a case of something that happens anyway, not because of some tricky mouse work.

Nay.
