SWG Exploits: Closest to insta-killing as you can get : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

As of right now on live servers running chapter 2, you can make a looping macro containing "/expertise" that acts as a free melee hit.

Looping a macro such as:
/expertise;
/macro "macroname"

You can make multiple macros like this all linked together, end result? The PC/NPC gets hit for 200-300 about 10 times a second and dies very quickly.

Can premium members say yay or nay to this being moved to a confirmed section.

So there is a new exploit out I guess, I was in DWB and saw 3 people in the same guild all by themselves killing Mando's in 2 seconds, they seem to be hitting very fast, I dont have any saber mods and they swing super friggin fast and the health just sucks away.

chances are the thread will get deleted as soon as a mod lays their eyes on it...so I quoted a bit so you get the idea...

edit: there's several threads about it...it seems not only are people using it in DWB...but they are also using it in PVP...the idiots...perfect way to get an exploit nerfed is to use it in pvp...

if this is indeed it...use it while you can...this one looks like it'll die quick...


edit: great...now an idiot actually posted the details of the exploit on the official boards...I'd expect a nerf by tomorrow morning if not sooner...

Heh, huge yay - most unbalancing exploit I seen in SWG in a long time. Cleaned out the krayt graveyard and had to WAIT for respawns, lol.

edit: yeah...huge YAY on this one...definetly works...

took down the bettle foreman in about 10 seconds...hehe

Yeah, ran through all the mustafar quests with this, actually broke the HK instance by killing the risen commander part too quick, lol - bugged the rest. Good fun.

honestly I'm surprised they haven't brought the servers down to apply a fix or at least disable that command...

funny how people who aren't using it are complaining on the boards about how we ruined the publish because of our exploiting...

would we be exploiting if the devs did better QA and removed an exploit like this from the game before it reached live?

Using an exploit against npc is not a shame (it is just a way to play lol) ... using such an exploit in pvp is another question I think (I might be tempted to use it as many others but will not for ethical reasons, not with respect to the dev - who sux - but with respect to other players).

This exploits sohuld have been kept for only hard mustafar run instanced and noone would have really known before long ... now using it in DWB and pvp is so stupid that it makes me think some epxloiters are even stupider than SOE itself (never thought it possible).

yeah it surprised the hell out of me that someone would actually think using this exploit in pvp was a good idea...I mean...what better way to get it nerfed

had this only been used in pve it might have lasted a few more days...oh well...

servers came down for an unscheduled downtime earlier...so chances are this one is nerfed...

oh and btw...I used it...but only for pve
