For those interested it does work.

For those concerned or curious, it is not client side only. The additional health provided by a constitution mod, for example, shows when checked by other players.

What am I doing wrong?

I extract the file and get a psg folder with sub folder of appearence.

Then I take the appearence folder and move it to the star wars galaxies folder in program files. I move it to that one and not the SWG in the sony folder right? Then I load up the game and I still cannot place the AA in the PSG after I retroed it.

Yes, please explain how you place this mod in your swg folder. It it just a straight copy and past or like the prior poster stated, do you create folders and such?

Place the 5 folders within the ZIP archived file into your C:/Program Files/StarWarsGalaxies folder... That's it. That's where all your mods usually go.

OK this does work, but you do not need all of the files from the MOD. A lot of the files in there change the appearance of other files that have nothing to do with your PSG. You only need 2 files. I have tested this with only these 2 files. They are the following

eqp_comp_shield_generator.sat in the Appearance folder (this file will need to be placed in an Appearance folder in your SWG folder), and the Object folder and its file (again this folder will need to be placed in your SWG folder) for this to work.

And all it takes is one !@#$%^&* with a screenie to ruin this. I hope this guy is found, and membership revoked.

Yup, it will be nerfed now. I expect they might even go so far as to make them unwearable. So sad people post stuff like this.

If anyone has been able to get exotic mods into non-exotic pieces, please post the method before the inevitable nerf.

No doubt they do, but when you wave in front of the other players, with a "haha look what I have" mentality, it is MUCH more likely to see a quick fix.
