Rappelz - Quick Summary : FPS / MMORPG / RTS Discussion

I've played Rappelz on the PvP server for a couple hours now. Very addicting. I'd highly recommend this game, for even a casual gamer. For all you Lineage 2 fans out there, this game is Very Very similar, the graphics are a little better.

Pros:

Stamina System:

Stamina gives players a XP/JP bonuses to every kill. After every kill this Stamina goes away. But! However long you are logged out results in a Stamina gain. Meaning players that have jobs, or go to school can catch up to those players that never sleep.
Lak System:

Lak is gained randomly from monsters. It's actually the quickest way to get money too. You can either exchange for Rubees (Money) or Chips (Similar to Soul Shots on Lineage 2). When you get pked, you loose all your Lak to the player or party that killed you. If you die by a npc monster, you keep your Lak.
Pet System:

All games must have pets, but in Rappelz they not only level up, but they evolve up to three stages. Here is an example of pets that are in the game now. http://www.tabemashou.com/games/rappelz ... ntera.html

Cons:

Lag Issues:

The game had a tough time running on my computer at first. Until I turned off "glow effect" inside the options. In towns it can get a little laggy, but not as bad as some games out there.

Maybe we should have a Gpotato section? That would count for FlyFF, Rappelz, & Space Cowboy.

sounds like a cool game i am downloading now. although i only have 256 mb ram and min req for ram is 512mb... we will see how it goes.

i think that is a great idea to do a Gpotatoe section. then just have subsections in it space cowboy, rappelz ... etc... would be more organized anyhow.... AND by bringing all the G games together, it can provide us with clues we can try using on the other G games. and just have an easier time trying to put hack programs together for it
